Materials & Craftsmanship
What reaches your walls must be worthy of the name it carries. This is the standard behind every Vyloire artwork — the paper, the ink, the frame, and the hands that bring them together.
Museum-Grade Giclée Printing
Every Vyloire piece is produced using giclée printing — the fine-art reproduction process trusted by galleries, museums and collectors. Printed at high resolution on professional large-format fine-art printers, each artwork is rendered with exceptional detail and precise colour management, so that every tone arrives exactly as it was composed.
The inks are archival, pigment-based — not the dye-based inks of ordinary prints. Pigment inks offer a wide colour gamut, deep tonal clarity, and a resistance to fading measured in decades, so the piece you hang today will hold its presence for years to come.
The Paper
We print on heavyweight cold-press fine-art paper — a 300 gsm, acid-free archival stock with a 100% cotton rag base. Its gently textured, glare-free matte surface catches ambient light naturally, giving each artwork an organic, tactile depth that flat, mass-produced prints simply cannot offer.
- Weight: 300 gsm heavyweight fine-art stock
- Base: 100% cotton rag, acid-free and archival
- Surface: Textured cold-press, matte and glare-free
- Inks: Archival pigment inks, fade-resistant for decades
The Frames
Framed artworks are mounted in solid premium oak with a clean, architectural profile — available in Natural, Black, White and Walnut. Each frame is glazed with a real glass cover that protects the print while preserving the texture of the paper beneath, fully backed, and fitted with hanging hardware.
Your framed piece arrives ready to hang — no assembly, no additional hardware, no framing shop required.
Choosing your finish
- Natural oak — warm blonde grain; at home in Scandinavian, Japandi and organic-modern interiors
- Black oak — deep and architectural; sharpens contrast in modern and editorial spaces
- White oak — crisp and quiet; softens the palette in bright, airy rooms
- Walnut oak — rich and grounded; deepens the warmth of earth-tone pieces
Prefer to frame it yourself? Select Unframed and your print arrives carefully packaged, ready for the frame of your choice.
A Guide to Size
Vyloire artworks are offered in three sizes, as individual prints or matched sets. Each product page includes a size guide photographed in real interiors.
- 12×18 in — gallery walls, reading corners, desks and more intimate spaces
- 16×24 in — bedrooms, home offices, hallways and dining areas
- 24×36 in — living-room feature walls and statement placements
A simple principle serves well: artwork above a sofa or bed should span roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. For matched sets, allow two to three inches between frames.
Made to Order, Made in the USA
Nothing at Vyloire is mass-stocked. Every artwork is printed, framed and quality-reviewed individually in the United States, only after your order is placed — most within 1 to 3 business days — then packed in protective transit packaging designed for fine art and shipped, fully tracked, with complimentary worldwide delivery.
Caring for Your Artwork
- Hang away from prolonged direct sunlight — pigment inks resist fading for decades, and thoughtful placement extends that further
- Dust frames and glass gently with a soft, dry cloth; apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than the glazing
- Avoid rooms with persistent high humidity, such as bathrooms, for unframed prints
- Handle unframed prints by the edges, and keep them flat until framed
